


This was very weird to me because my account is an administrator account.

I do remember that I received a prompt stating that Access was Denied due to my not having administrator rights. Next he asked me to type msconfig in the Run box and make some adjustments in the Startup, Service and one other tab. The first thing they had me do was uninstall MS C++ Visual Basic, and then reinstall it. I then called Quickbooks and I was on the phone with them for about 4 hours total (spanning 2 phone calls). When I tried to reinstall it, I received an error saying that the license and product code was invalid. After reading how others had a similiar issue, i uninstalled Quickbooks Pro 2007 and tried to reinstall it. This is has been a huge pain since Monday (now Thursday).
